Special Notes:

Caution with Henna Dyes – If you’ve used henna in the past few months, using a chemical dye like Herbatint can result in darker-than-expected results. Henna makes the hair smoother and less porous, so the colour may not adhere well. It’s recommended to wait a few months before switching from henna to chemical dyes and conduct a strand test to avoid any surprises.

PPDs in Herbatint – Though Herbatint contains Phenylenediamines (PPDs), which are necessary for altering hair colour, it uses minimal amounts (0.8–2.1%) within legal limits. It also contains plant extracts to help reduce the potential impact of PPDs.

Allergy Testing – If you have had allergic reactions to other hair dyes, a patch test is essential before applying Herbatint, as it does not contain common irritants found in other dyes.

Not Recommended For:
Pregnant women or individuals undergoing chemotherapy treatments should avoid permanent hair dyes.
